We proudly announce the public release of “ELIA”’s trailer, directed by Christian Olcese and Edoardo Nervi.
Seven months from the start of the filming process, we are excited to share a glimpse into the narrative that focuses on ethical and sustainable fishing practices and the pervasive issue of microplastic pollution.
In collaboration with Elia and fellow fishermen, the documentary immerses viewers in the essence of sustainable and controlled fishing. Our involvement allows us to shed light on the challenges faced by those in the fishing profession, illustrating the evolving landscape and the enduring traditions since the inception of this age-old practice. A significant aspect of our narrative in “ELIA” is the alarming threat of plastic pollution and the
imperative to protect our blue planet. The documentary explores various regional initiatives dedicated to working in harmony with the environment, showcasing endeavors to defend and preserve marine ecosystems.
“ELIA” serves not only as a reflection of our commitment but also as an invitation to a global audience to join us in understanding and addressing the challenges of sustainable fishing. Through intimate glimpses into the lives of fishermen, we hope to foster a collective appreciation for our oceans and inspire concerted efforts towards their preservation.
EcoeFISHENT is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this documentary and extends sincere thanks to all partners who shared their insights to raise awareness.
