The “From Fish to Cosmetics” Circular Value Chain (CVC 2) transforms fish-processing side streams into high-value ingredients for cosmetic and personal care applications. Through innovative and sustainable valorisation processes, underutilised fish biomass becomes a source of bioactive compounds with skin-beneficial properties. By converting fish side streams into valuable cosmetic ingredients, CVC 2 supports waste reduction, resource efficiency, and the sustainable use of marine resources, creating added value for the cosmetics industry while contributing to the circular bioeconomy.
