EcoeFISHent was presented during Blue Skills: a thematic workshop on marine Circular Economy, in Genoa the last November 24th and 25th at “Genova Blue District”.

EcoeFISHent was presented during Blue Skills, a thematic workshop on marine Circular Economy, by our partners TICASS and MICAMO, in Genoa the last November 24th and 25th at “Genova Blue District”.

Blue Skills is an event aiming to discover the new Blue Economy skills required by green and digital transition. It is also the choice to meet companies and professionals involved in marine economy and sea sports.

The workshop main objective was to reflect on the professional opportunities deriving from circular economy, related studies and specialization paths, with a focus on marine ecosystem, starting from the European project EcoeFISHent.
Dr. Matteo Zinni, from MICAMO Lab, made an overview on the EcoeFISHent main goals and concepts with a focus on the sustainable and efficient side-streams management and the Six Circular Value Chains.
Dr. Nicoletta Piccardo, from TICASS staff,
gave a speech on new skills, jobs and the related training courses, required to operate in the bioeconomy sector.

The workshop was addressed mainly to young students, looking for information about careers related to circular economy and bioeconomy.
