https://ecoefishent.eu/partners/cibm/On November, 3rd, project EcoeFISHent was presented during the Conference «Livorno, the sea at the center: research and innovation for sea economy» organised by the Municipality of Livorno (Tuscany, Italy).
Dr. Paolo Sartor gave a speech in order to explain CIBM contribution to the fishing management, the protection of the sea and circular economy, with a focus on the activities performed by CIBM in project EcoeFISHent related to the improvement of fishing techniques and tools.
The initiative highlighted the importance of applied research carried out by research institutes, which play a fundamental role for the knowledge to be transferred to the business and institutional world for the challenges of the blue economy, with reference to the green transition and digitalization.
