The meeting was focused on scientific presentations and on career workshops with graduates and industry experts, about the latest developments in the fields of food, biotechnology & circular economy.
It was the chance to strengthen future collaborations and research activities within and beyond Biotechnet and Ulysseus alliance.
On the second day, prof. Elena Grasselli and prof. Raffaella Boggia from University of Genoa, gave a speech entitled “The unique case of EcoeFISHent H2020 project: Liguria as focal point for the valorization of fish byproducts for development of cosmetic and nutraceutical products”.
The target audience was represented by researchers and student from the Ulysseus Universities, working in the fields of food technology, agricultural sciences, biosciences, biotechnology, and circular economy.

ULYSSEUS is an alliance, funded by Erasmus + and Horizon 2020 programs, aiming at promoting the internationalization and modernization of education systems by creating a European University during the next three years.
It includes University of Genoa together with five other European universities: University of Seville (Spain), Université Côte d’Azur (France), Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland).
