EcoeFISHent partner Generale Conserve spa, an Italian company specialized in fish preserves, owner of the “ASdoMAR” brand,
released the sustainability report 2021 which includes a specific section dedicated to the project.
With the support of prof.ssa Micaela Tiso from MICAMO (EcoeFISHent partner), the project is featured in the report, providing a brief description, itsobjectives, and the related activities foreseen.
Generale Conserve continues its path aimed at developing a sustainable value chain, with an increasing attention to the territory, the enhancement of
local excellence and the consumer needs.
Generale Conserve has been reusing 100% of fish tuna side-streams, that usually are discarded, since several years.
The company has always been at the forefront of sustainability, and reached the important milestone of its tenth edition of the Sustainability
Report, published since 2013. Every year, the intention has been to enrich the document and the related reporting through continuous
qualitative and quantitative improvements.
Generale Conserve participates in the project as a pivotal partner. As a matter of fact, it is among the three suppliers of the raw material, with the
ambition to support the Circular Value Chains during the next five years.
