“Live the sustainable experience 2022”: a day of conferences and insights on the theme of sustainable and conscious nutrition was held in Genoa, on November 30th, with experts, producers and scientists.
The meeting aimed to spread the messages of the World Food Day and was promoted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and dedicated to sustainability.
During the event FAO held a speech on food systems and their impact on global emissions of greenhouse gases.
TICASS took part in the event with a speech on the EcoeFISHent project and the Bioeconomy, while UNIGE described the enhancement of food side-streams in the cosmetic field with examples of eco-sustainable food ingredients from side-streams supply chain.
